We absolutely loved staying in the wagon with our two young children. Zoe and Howard are lovely hosts, really going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They were particularly good with our kids, with Howard on a few occasions showing them the lovely farm animals. They got time stroking and feeding the sheep (with Rupert being a bit of a star, but a bit naughty too!), plus a visit to the adorable pigs. Our children loved feeding the sheep at will from the wagon's lovely garden. Zoe and Howard even popped by to show our kids their dogs.
The wagon itself is perfect. It's really comfortable with everything you need, including comfortable beds and a lovely kitchen and bathroom. The place was pristine and couldn't be faulted. The garden area is lovely where we enjoyed eating meals on the picnic bench. Nothing was too much trouble for the accommodating Zoe and Howard and we look forward to visiting again! Zoe and Howard are excellent hosts, they keep everything extremely clean and take all necessary steps to make it covid safe. We stayed with our 2 year old daughter in the train car. The space is sufficient and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook. We had a private garden where she could play ball and run freely while interacting with the sheep. She still asks about "sam" the sheep. Howard and Zoe showed us the whole farm, I never saw ducks, chickens, sheep and pigs so happy. The farm is a beautiful, peaceful place away from the crowds. The beach is only 9 miles away. Thank you very much for everything, we will be back! Marianela Sanchez - August 2020
Zoe and Howard have created an absolute jewel of a CL Site, and run it as perfect hosts in a relaxed and friendly way. Situated on their immaculate farm amongst superb scenery it provides an interesting and relaxing base to explore the Dorset countryside. As a 'leisure angler' I was drawn to their pond/small lake where I could happily sit and fish should they decide to allow anglers on to this tranquil oasis in the future. My wife Christine and I stayed for 3 days, and enjoyed every minute of it. David Williams - September 2020
We've just stayed here in our motorhome on one of their EHU pitches for 3 nights. Really lovely, professional and helpful hosts, they couldn't do enough to help us, all thoughtfully and very well set up, very dog friendly, hand sanitizers at various points around site, dog poop bins at the recycling point and down by the lovely tranquil pond, great signage, amazing views whatever the weather, peaceful, beautifully maintained with love and care, amazing sausages and the freshest eggies, loved saying hello to the sheep especially Gumpi, Rupert and Mable. Met the little orphaned 2 week old piggies, too cute, highly recommend. Everywhere after has a lot to live up to after this place! We had no need to stay in it (as we had our motorhome) but they also have a really lovely wagon, again thoughtfully set up and tastefully done. I'd definitely stay there if I didn't have my own facilities! Their B&B is obviously temporarily on hold but hope they can open it again soon.Thank you so much Zoe and Howard, will definitely see you again xx Tracey Southcott - July 2020
My mum and I had such a wonderful stay at Greenacres. It was in a great location and made it so easy to get to everywhere we wanted to visit. The house and our room was amazing and so comfortable. There was tea/coffee and a lovely bathroom. The breakfasts were amazing! We could order the night before which was so nice. Zoe and Howard were so kind and friendly! I really appreciated how lovely they were to mum.
We felt rejuvenated after our stay and missed it when we left! Especially the breakfasts! Sarah Hennigan - October 2019
We have just returned with our son, Dan, from a wonderful stay at Greenacres B&B.
Zoe and Howard have put years of amazing hard graft and love into converting this old farm property into the beautiful home and B&B that it is today.
The rooms are decorated in a fun and tasteful way to the highest standard, and SO clean. They both went out of their way to welcome us, and to provide anything we needed.
Zoe's breakfasts are amazing - such a fantastic range of fresh fruit - warm croissants - fresh bread - a choice of breakfasts, cooked with great care.
There are superb views of the Dorset countryside all around and the animals give the place a lovely farm yard feel. We had a look into the converted train carriage, which again is superbly done and looks great fun to stay in as a family.
We had great days out to Eype, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, West Bay, Golden Cap, Dorchester, Seaton and Beer Quarry- all within easy reach. We had good meals in a variety of pubs and restaurants recommended by Zoe and Howard.
When we returned from our outings, we were always welcomed with a friendly smile and a chat to see how we had got on.
We would recommend this B&B to anyone and would like to return ourselves.
Take a look at their website for contact details. THANK YOU Zoe and Howard! Jan and Colin (Clevedon, Somerset) - November 2019
Just to say thank you for all you did to make our stay with you over the past 5 days so refreshing.
The subject of hospitality is mentioned several times in the New Testament- for the important reasons that I shared with you. For example - Timothy says ' Be given to Hospitalty' 1 Timothy 3 verse 4. In the letter to the Hebrews Chapter 13 verse 2 it says Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some of have entertained angels unwares ' In his first letter Peter instructs ' Use Hospitality one to another, without grudging' ( Chapter 5 verse 9 ) All of these references come from the King James Authorised Version of the Bible. If you have a more modern translation like the Good News Bible, or the New International Version ( which is widely used in churches today) you will get a different wording.
The reference from Peter reminds me of a brilliant definition of the word Hospitality. Here it us ' Hospitality is that grace which makes people feel at home, when you wish that they were' . Neville - July 2018
We had a lovely break away from the kids last weekend at the beautiful Greenacres B&B, thanks to the very welcoming hosts, Zoe and Howard who looked after us so well. They had thought of everything when it came to the rooms and bathrooms, all their little touches went down very well indeed. And what a breakfast! Thanks for looking after us so well and putting up with our late nights! Faye Field - July 2018
Just arrived back from a lovely 3 night stay (stayed an extra night) Zoe and Howard have a lovely place , excellent hosts lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast would highly recommend this b&b. Julie & Paul - May 2018
Last minute booking but will now be our first choice for spending the weekend away! From the moment we arrived to the time we left our stay was perfect in every way, Zoe & Howard made sure of that.
Our room (The Paddock) & breakfast were faultless, Chris was a very happy man after having his breakfast! He has raved about it ever since. Ideally situated to visit Bridport, West Bay & Lyme Regis, all such beautiful places & with Zoe & Howard's knowledge of the area it was made so much easier.
The recommendations of where to eat in the evenings were very helpful too. The whole of Greenacres is a tranquil haven for a relaxing break & we will most definitely be returning. Loved waking up in the morning & seeing the animals & chickens. We arrived as strangers to each other but left feeling that a friendship has been made which will be continued next time, saying thank you for making our stay so pleasant doesn't seem enough. Can't wait to return, keep doing what you're doing Zoe & Howard as it's excellent & Greenacres will go from strength to strength xx Helen Stonadge - May 2018
Hats off to Zoe and Howard, they have a fantastic B&B, situated on a small farm in the countryside a short drive from Charmouth and Lyme Regis. They were incredibly welcoming, their house is beautiful and comfortable. We would definitely go back (even just for the breakfast - Zoe is an incredible chef!). Just a couple of down to earth people running a B&B and making an excellent job of it. Thanks for having us! (Oh and the piglets and lambs were super cute :) ) Guy and Emily Foster - May 2018
Excellent stay in a lovely house with splendid views. Lovely room which was very comfortable. Excellent bathroom with a large rainfall shower and a roll-top bath. Very tasty breakfast cooked to order with a good choice. Real milk available for tea in the room. Really pleasant host and hostess who provided a large pot of tea on arrival and when we came back on the second day before going out for a meal.Samwhiwel - April 2018

I’ve just spent 3 nights here and to me this is an outstanding establishment. Zoe and Howard were fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough to make you feel at home. The room was magnificent and finished to a very high standard. The breakfast menu was very varied and well tested by myself. 100%. I am a keen cyclists and did some on the back lanes around here ,I must say some of the hills are unforgiving especially Mutton Street ,which is next to the school. I will be returning to Green acres as I enjoyed my stay so much. Very friendly hosts and a great location for exploring the beautiful Dorset coastline and countryside. I would thourily recommend Green acres 110%. Thank you Zoe & Howard.Chris Gregory
Greenacres B and B is so much more than just that, Zoe and Howard are amazing hosts and are passionate about what they do. The breakfast was sensational, the care and thought put into every aspect of it was beyond our expectations. They care so much about their guests. Did they sleep well? Was their breakfast okay? Is there anything they could do differently? Never before have we stayed in a B and B, or hotel for that matter, that we could not fault in any way. We are planning our next trip back and we cannot wait! Thanks so much Zoe and Howard and keep doing what you’re doing because you’re winning! Claire and Tom Buckley
An absolute joy to stay here! Beautiful location, lovely comfy rooms, delicious breakfast, and such welcoming hosts! Every detail is thought of, and Zoe and Howard were so helpful they definitely went the extra mile. We would definitely stay here again!Kate and Craig, Sunderland
Zoe and Howard could not have been more accomodating. Its like a home from home. Nothing is to much trouble. Bedroom very tasteful and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Would stay here again, wouldnt even consider looking for any other accomodation. Very reasonable indeed xxKarli and Rob – Salisbury
We spent our 25th wedding aniversary here and had a great time thanks to Zoe and Howard. These hosts offered us a lot of ideas for our sightseeings. Greenacres is an ideal basis for trips to Lyme Regis, Beer and a garden tour. We had the opportunity to test both accommodations. Each is lovely for its own and well equipped. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fruit and their variety of farm products. We can fully recommend this B&B and will certainly come again.Ulrike and Ralf Baehring, Celle/ Germany
Zoe and Howard were amazing hosts felt like family members not guests. Bedroom was perfect best we have ever stayed in (home and abroad) and the breakfast first class. Star rating 5 or 10/10 We will certainly return it was a great experience.Margaret and David Cowsill from Birmingham
Had a great time at Greenacres, Zoe and Howard were very friendly and attended to our every need. The breakfast was really tasty and made from home grown products. Would definitely recommended!Nick & Alex, Oxford
From the second we arrived to the warmest welcome we have ever had. We had the best B&B experience EVER. Nestled in the wonderful Dorset Countryside. A great location to visit surrounding areas. Our room was amazing and the bathroom stunning. Cleanliness is faultless. Then to wake up in the morning to have our hosts Zoe and Howard cater to a five star standard. Breakfast like everything else was perfect. We were sorry to leave and we will be putting it top of the list to return. I felt when we left we were leaving lovely warm friends. Thanks once again to you both .Angela and Dave Malaga Spain.
What a great B n B. Superb bedroom and bathroom and a wonderful home produced breakfast. The hosts Zoe and Howard treated us like family members not guests and our every wish was fulfilled with a cheerful smile. A great 3 day break.Margaret and David Cowsill from Birmingham
